What is OfficeGuns?

We want to use our experience as developers of weapon systems to make your day at the office a more exciting one. And we want to make your co-workers feel less safe around you at the office.

Who is involved with OfficeGuns?

On the main team we are two software engineers. On a daily basis, we develop software for weapon systems. Glenn has been much help in testing and also made the first version of the "Ruler of the Office". Other involved are the unfortunate co-workers around us.

What are the basic principles of an OfficeGun?

We are keeping to strict rules about our guns.

Were any animals hurt in the development of the OfficeGuns?

Only some code monkeys.

What is your formal knowledge of weapons?

Espen is a former 2nd leutenant in the Norwegian Army's cavalry (Storm). He served as a commander on a CV9030N IFV. He has experience with a whole range of weapons from 9mm guns to 30 mm guns to 84 mm recoilless anti tank rifles. He now develops software for weapon systems. What kind of systems is of course classified information. He has done this for 4 years (summer 2005).

Geir's military experience sums down to shooting a couple of 7.62mm rounds and playing MAME games in an office for a year. After that he went on to develop software for air defense command and control systems, which he has done for the past 5 years. He has spent much more time on various military exercises in his work time than he ever did when serving in the military.

Glenn was a private in the army. He has developed for the NSM project and is lethal with his lightsaber.

What if I hurt myself or other people using your guns?

Do you really want people to know how stupid you are? Guns are made for hurting. If you don't want to hurt anyone, maybe you should not handle guns?

Where are you from?

We are from Norway. The land of the Vikings. You know... Those peace loving guys from some years back.

Have you no shame?

There is no norwegian word for the english word shame.

Do you believe in God?

We believe there is a power greater than man. There is a force in the universe stronger than we can ever imagine. It's called Murphy's Law.

Why don't you use imperial units?

We are proud members of the Rebel Alliance.

Can these weapons be used in a conventional war?

Through history, most large scale weapons have just been larger versions of smaller weapons. Knife to spear and arrow to missiles. So yes, we think we will see large laser guided Maulies in the next USA-Iraq war.

Where do you stand on the issue of the war in Iraq?

Next question please.

Why the Google-ads?

We really really really really want a high speed video camera.

Why Haven't you included the gun I described in my email?

Chose one or more from reasons below:

Did the pencil really penetrate the Coca Cola can?

Why don't you make the Super Maul and try it out?
